Patience of enduring suffering

In this class, we talked about the mind of patience – being able to accept happily whatever happens. Even though no one in the world can make everything that they want happen, and stop everything they don’t want to happen, we can control our mind when these things go wrong!

The kids liked to learn about the “antidote” of patience. Just like anger is poison in our mind, if we quickly apply patience, we will not harm ourself and others.

For our craft, we created anger & patience finger puppets. These remind us that in any situation where things are not going how we’d like, we can either respond with anger or with patience. Also useful if you want to do a little skit for the kids with the model craft 🙂
